Digital evolution of national retail franchise

Summary

We began working with this national franchise with over 60 stores back in 2001 when we developed their first website.

Since then we have redeveloped the website several times, as trends and technical requirements have changed such as the introduction of the smartphone and the maturity of the cloud.

Marketing

We have implemented a comprehensive online marketing strategy including targeted local advertising covering the sales territory of each store – using a combination of Google Ads, SEO plus advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Each campaign is tailored to the product offerings and territory of each store.

Call tracking and an online reporting dashboard enable franchisees to monitor and track the return on their investment.

E-Invoicing & Digital Sales System

For many years, sales orders were signed using pen and paper. However, manufacturer terms and conditions would often change, resulting in out dated printed agreement books.

We solved this problem by custom developing a cloud-hosted costing, quoting and invoicing system. Now, when terms and conditions require an update, the changes can be immediately rolled out across the country, ensuring agreements are always up-to-date.

To help the franchisees close more deals, we introduced a Digital Sales System, consisting of Google Workspace, sales CRM and integration with E-invoicing. These applications are protected and an Identity Access Management (IAM) solution with Single Sign-On (SSO) to manage credentials.
